What Innoson boss said about Tinubu

The Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing, Innocent Chukwuma says that the policies of the President Bola Tinubu-led administration will yield positive outcomes.

Chukwuma expressed his confidence in Tinubu’s capability while addressing reporters after a meeting with President Tinubu at the State House.

He urged Nigerians to be patient with the President.

“I decided to talk to him because of how things are and encouraged him. People must be patient with him. This President, I know him, I know how he behaves. They should give him time. Everything they want; they will see a better Nigeria. They should just give him a little more time. I’m begging Nigerians to calm down for him.

“So, let everybody be patient because everybody knows that the previous government sold oil, collected the money and didn’t supply. This government is just supplying. It hasn’t got the money. So, they should give them time. Everything will be fine.

“The way I see him, he wants better things for this country. I’m encouraging everybody to be patient. There’s no need to destroy our things; there’s no benefit in destroying our infrastructure. Our benefit is in waiting for him to be calm to plan for the future of this country,” he said.

Chukwuma said that the partnership of Innoson Motors and the Federal Government would also yield benefits for thr country. He also lauded the CNG policy initiative of the Federal Government.

He said: “I started CNG about two years ago. I was the first to start CNG in this country. As I came here, the issues about CNG will be over. I’ve discussed with them and they will see that in a short time, the masses will have enough CNG buses on the roads.

“It’s the best idea for transportation in this country because there are a lot of benefits for Nigerians to use CNG. It was those benefits I saw that led me to start the factory to produce CNG vehicles because I started producing CNG before the announcement”.
