Grammy-nominated Nigerian superstar David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, will be performing at the UnitedMasters Grammy weekend concert.
According to the organizers, the concert, which is one of the festivities that precede the 66th Grammy Awards, will take place at Hollywood’s Palladium on February 2.
UnitedMasters, the American music distributor, announced the headliners via their Instagram page on Friday.
“We are coming back to Grammy weekend in a global way. Join us for the celebration of independence with performances by @davido, @unclewaffles_ and @tokischa.popola,” the post reads.
This year’s Grammy Awards ceremony will take place on February 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Since the album’s launch, ‘Timeless’ has continued to rake in millions of streams across global music platforms.
In April, the project secured the 37th spot on the Billboard 200 chart. It secured the 39th spot on Billboard’s prestigious “Top 50 Best Albums of 2023″ list in December.
The body of work also set its first-day streaming record for an African album on Apple Music in the same month.
Davido recently headlined the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, where he performed at his Are We Africans Yet (A.W.A.Y) festival alongside other stars, including Adekunle Gold, Focalistic, Mayorkun, and Lojay.
Davido’s career officially took off in 2011 with the release of ‘Dami Duro’, his debut single.
