Dangote unveils Blocmaster cement, stew mix, curry powder at Lagos Trade Fair

The Dangote Group on Wednesday unveiled its new products – BlocMaster Cement, Stew mix and Curry powder – to the delight of visitors at the ongoing Lagos International Trade Fair.
Alhaji Aliko Dangote, Chief Executive Officer of Dangote Group, said during Dangote Special Day at the fair that the new products resulted from years of intensive research to meet the ever-changing needs of consumers.
The LITF, which is the 32nd edition, is organised by the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Represented by Josiah Moemeke, Sales Manager, Dangote Cement, Africa’s richest man said Dangote Cement, which controls about 65 per cent of Nigeria’s cement market, would keep evolving products that would promote the cement industry and the economy.
“Dangote Blocmaster is strong and affordable, has been tested and approved to mould more blocks and aid durable building projects,” he said.
Dangote urged Nigerians to adopt the new cement for all their construction projects.
Also, Oluwatoni Odewale, Category Manager, NASCON Allied Products Plc, a subsidiary of Dangote Limited, said the introduction of Dangote Stew mix and Curry powder would enrich the meals of many families.
She said the products were fortified with vitamins and minerals that would promote healthy and nutritious meals.
Odewale said visitors to the group’s pavilion at the fair would purchase the products and other brands of the company at a discounted prices.
Earlier, Babatunde Ruwase, President of LCCI, said Dangote was a success story that made the country proud, not just locally but globally.
He urged the Federal Government to address the challenges confronting the manufacturing sector ranging from high interest rate, insecurity, power challenge, poor road network and issues at the nation’s port.
Ruwase urged the government to improve the business environment toward attracting more investments and making the environment conducive for businesses to thrive.
