UPDATED: Full details of why Lagos govt suspended reopening of worship centres

The Lagos State government led by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has given the go ahead for worship places to reopen from August 7.

The governor who said this on Saturday during his update on the Coronavirus disease in the state, also increased public gatherings capacity from 20 to 50 people. Night clubs however remain shut.

Worship centers and other social gatherings were banned in the state since March as part of measures to curb the spread of coronavirus.
