Popular televangelist, Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe was the centre of attraction as Genesis Global opened a new worship centre in Ikeja, to the delight of its members and residents.
It was all fanfare when the man of God stormed the venue with the members of Genesis Global for the new parish. The evening service which started at exactly 6pm had a large turnout of attendees of about 3000 who registered their presence with attendance list at the entrance of the hall.
As if that wasn’t enough, we gathered the interior was a chilling environment, with sophisticated sound equipment mounted at strategic places for the event which was streamed live.
A digital screen was mounted outside the hall premises for the passers-by to have a feel of what they were missing. BethNews Media learnt that the digital screen projector caused a heavy gridlock as everyone passing through was eager to know what was going on in the neighbourhood.
In his welcome address, Prophet Ogundipe popularly known as Genesis told the mammoth audience to be fully prepared to dance away their sorrows as he wass not ready to preach but to render only thanksgiving of praise to God Almighty.
Another great man of God who mounted the podium was Pastor David. He gave a brief exhortation by referencing God, saying it was a good thing to always give thanks for what God has done and in anticipation of what he was yet to do. Pastor ‘David’ also referenced Prophet Israel Oladele Ogundipe for being a true man of God who remains God’s product of grace to spread His gospel both in evangelism and other means of worship. As he opened the evening service for the congregants to dance as they moved into their next chapters of greatness, Genesis was sighted prophesying into the lives of everyone who was in attendance, declaring that their lives would no longer experience backwardness, hardship and financial stagnations.
Popular gospel musicians were on hand to electrify the atmosphere the more.
They included Segun 02, Dare Justified, Rain and many more who churned out danceable worship/praises in their sonorous voices as the service lasted good five hours. The great man of God officially declared every Sunday evening between 6pm – 7 pm at Genesis Global Ikeja Inter-Denominational centre to be for God.
