Legendary Nigerian musician, 2Face Idibia, has taken down all posts and videos related to his divorce from Annie, following a controversial announcement made on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
The singer had publicly confirmed the rumours about their split in a video shared on both his Instagram story and page.
However, just hours after posting the video, 2Face deleted it, later claiming that his Instagram account had been hacked. The sudden development shocked his fans and colleagues, sparking widespread controversy on social media.
In an attempt to clarify, 2Face addressed the issue in a trending video, where he reversed his earlier statement. Speaking in Pidgin, the musician stated, “Hello my people, nobody hacked my account. Na me talk weytin I won yan,” confirming that the announcement had indeed come from him.
Despite this clarification, by Monday morning, it was revealed that the singer had removed all content related to his divorce, including the video.
