Unfolding NewsThumb Magazine 10th Year Anniversary and Achievers’ Award

Just like yesterday, 10 years have passed since our magazine rolled out and hit the newsstands. We however thank God that despite the biting economic hardship and the unfriendly climate in the print media, we have been able to keep our head above waters and still be in the volatile business of print production, against all odds.
Newsthumb is a reputable and widely-read weekly lifestyle magazine. Over the years, the magazine has featured notable celebrities, prominent personalities in politics, economy and in other life-transforming sectors in the country and beyond.

That is why we are now celebrating our 10 eventful years/anniversary in the business amidst pomp and ceremony, come Sunday September 26, 2021 at the prestigious Event Centre, Plot 1, Block B, Hakeem Street, off Cadbury, Agidingbi, behind MKO Gardens, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos. Time: 2pm Prompt.

Billed to grace the event as Special Guests of Honour are the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwoolu; Borno State Governor, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum; and Honourable Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu. The Special Guest Speaker is the legal luminary and human rights activist, Mr. Femi Falana, (SAN.)

In the same vein, we shall also be bestowing awards and recognitions on some prominent citizens and corporate bodies during the event, especially those who have made their marks in their respective endeavours, and are still not done. Amongst them are Hon. Popoola Adeshina, Special Adviser to Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun; Otunba Olusegun Abiru; Dr. Daniel Olukoya of MFM; prolific journalist, Babajide Otitoju; Pastor Olusegun Alonge, a prominent educationist; Hon.
