Tinubu salutes BUA chairman, Abdul Samad Rabiu at 65

President Bola Tinubu has warmly congratulated Abdul Samad Rabiu, Chairman of BUA Group and one of Africa’s leading industrialists, as he marks his 65th birthday today.

In a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga on Sunday, Tinubu described Rabiu as one of the continent’s most accomplished entrepreneurs.

He praised Rabiu’s transformative investments across key sectors of the Nigerian economy, which he said exemplify vision, discipline, and ambition.

The president also commended the efforts of the Abdul Samad Rabiu Africa Initiative, noting its consistent contributions to education, healthcare, and social development across Nigeria and Africa.

“Abdul Samad Rabiu is a builder in every sense.

“He has built industries, empowered people, uplifted communities, and continues to invest in the future of our country—not for applause, but out of duty and conviction. Nigeria is proud of him, and I am proud to call him a trusted partner in our nation’s progress,” the statement read.

President Tinubu offered prayers for continued strength, wisdom, and good health for the BUA chairman.
