Programmes for inauguration of Nigeria’s President-Elect Tinubu unveiled

The Nigerian Government on Thursday released schedule of events that will culminate in inauguration of President-elect, Bola Tinubu on 27 , May, 2023.

In the schedule of activities for the 2023 Presidential Inauguration released by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the President -Elect will be be conferred with the highest national honour of Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR) on 25 May ahead of his 29 May inauguration.

Mustapha, who is the Chairman of the Presidential Transition Council activities leading to the inauguration day will kick off with a dinner in honour of the outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari on 23 May.

The SGF who unveiled the schedule events at a press briefing at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Abuja added that the Vice President-elect Kashim Shettima will also be conferred with Nigeria’s second highest honour, the Grand Commander of Order of the Niger (GCON) honour also on 25 May.
