Police Arrests Isanlu Robbery Suspects in Abeokuta

Police Special Squad has succeeded in nabbing some of the suspects involved in the recent Isanlu robbery where 9 Policemen and 3 civilians were reportedly killed.

The breakthrough, according to Police Sources came when some of the robbery suspects who went to Abeokuta in Ogun State to cool off located a bank in the city to lodge part of the stolen funds. The bank officials who saw the monies with First Bank Isanlu wraps became suspicious and alerted the Police leading to their arrest.

Those arrested we gathered are already singing like canaries.

Some of them are said to be “Local Boys” from the State.
