The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) on Sunday celebrated the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Adeboye, on his 78th birthday.
A statement by the spokesperson for the PFN, Simbo Olorunfemi, on behalf of its National President, Dr. Felix Omobude, said Adeboye was known “for his selflessness, dedication, and leadership in the Pentecostal community in Nigeria.”
The statement read partly, “Our prayer is that God will continue to keep you strong and healthy to continue to serve as an inspiration to millions all over the world, within and outside the Christian fold. We wish you many more returns of the day, as you continue to make an impact in the lives of many across continents and generations.”
Daddy G.O as fondly referred to, who according to PFN is one of the founding fathers of the PFN and the second National President of the association was also celebrated by one of his renowned sons in the faith, Apostle Johnson Suleman, senior pastor of Omega Fire Ministries International.
In a tweet by the Apostle on his verified Twitter account, Suleman wrote “Happy birthday to my father in the Lord, Daddy E.A Adeboye, I thank God for the day I met you. You are a true definition of a believer ad God-fearing man. I love you daddy and may you finish well sir. My family and I wish you many happy returns.”
