Adams had served as deputy chairman of the party in the state.
He emerged as the chairman of the party on August 4th, 2020 after polling 1,343 votes to beat his lone challenger and former Ose Local Government Chairman, Dennis Alonge, who got 369 votes.
Confirming Adams’ death, the party’s state Publicity Secretary, Mr Kennedy Peretei, said “It is true and we are going to communicate to you properly.”
The Ondo governorship election will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
The PDP is expected to hold its party primaries from April 6 – April 27, 2024
