Nigeria’s leading payment service bank, MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank Limited (MMPSB) has been commended for its massive support for Lagos state’s ‘Ounje Eko’ initiative, a food price discount initiative to bring succor to residents of the state.
The Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Systems, Abisola Ruth Olusanya, made the commendation during a recent visit by the executive management team of MoneyMaster PSB to the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture in Ikeja, Lagos.
The Commissioner expressed her gratitude to the team for their visit and acknowledged the bank’s significant contributions to the success of Phases 1 and 2 of the Ounje Eko project. She emphasized the importance of collaboration between the Ministry and MoneyMaster PSB, highlighting the potential for additional benefits to Lagos residents through ongoing and future initiatives.
Speaking at the event, Head, Agency Banking, MoneyMaster Payment Service Bank, Mr. Julius Arhebun expressed the gratitude to Lagos State Government for appointing the PSB as one of the official collection banks for the food initiative.
He pledged the Banks’ continued support and readiness to collaborate on future initiatives that will benefit the people of Lagos.
Licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in August, 2020, MoneyMaster PSB facilitates payments and remittance services within Nigeria, accepts deposits from individuals and small businesses, issues debit and prepaid cards, operates electronic wallets, inbound remittances, and carries out other services in line with CBN regulations.
The bank recently launched a 10% data bonus and 100MB seeding bonus to its existing and new customers to deepen financial inclusion. The offers are available to Nigerians via the USSD code and mobile banking app.
