The movie Radio Voice which was Produced by veteran actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD), shows the life of a charismatic radio presenter whose public influence contrasts sharply with personal struggles behind the scenes. The movie delves into themes of media influence, self-identity, and the emotional baggage of maintaining a public persona.
Radio Voice, Directed by Isioma Osaje, has been described as “a tribute to the legacy of radio in Nigeria” and “an intimate look at the human voice as both a tool and a burden.” Speaking on the red carpet, Osaje revealed the pressure and pride she felt leading the project.
“One of the most meaningful stories I’ve ever had the privilege to tell,” she said.
The premiere which was hosted by popular media girl Ariyiike Dimples was attended by notable personalities across entertainment and media. The host added a vibrant presence as she interviewed guests and celebrities on the red carpet. Attendees included top Nollywood stars, industry executives, radio legends, and influencers all dressed to the nines for the event.
The screening was met with a standing ovation from guests, many praising the film’s emotional depth and standout performances. Early reactions from viewers on social media describe it as powerful, nostalgic, and a wake-up call for media professionals.
