Money has changed how men view relationships – Timini Egbuson

Popular Nollywood actor, Timini Egbuson, has stirred conversations with his recent comments on the increasing monetization of romantic relationships by women.

Speaking in an interview with TVC, Egbuson stated that many financially stable men do not place much value on relationships because they have unlimited options.

He attributed this to the trend of women equating love with lavish spending.

“The nonchalant attitude of some men is because there are a lot of women accessible to them. You know, once you have money, you have a lot of options. And that is also because a lot of women have monetised dating,” he said.

He further explained that some women mistakenly believe that a man spending extravagantly on them signifies love.

“Some men know that when they spend lavishly on a lady, she would think they are in love with her. But that is not love because he’s a billionaire, he can afford to do the same thing for hundreds of girls,” Egbuson added.
