Lagos closes Osborne-Dolphin, Adeniji-Adele Link bridge

Commissioner for Transportation, Oluwaseun Osiyemi, made the announcement on Saturday.

He said the closure takes effect from midnight today, Saturday, July 27, to 5 a.m., on Monday, July 29, for the rehabilitation work.

Consequently, motorists are advised to use the following alternative routes:

From Osborne/Dolphin Estate, motorists are advised to connect the Sura Link Bridge to Adeniji Adele to access the Third Mainland Bridge, and continue with their journeys.

Also, motorists from the State House at Marina are to connect Obalende to link Simpson Bridge inward to Sura; and access Adeniji Adele to link the Third Mainland Bridge.

However, Osiyemi assured that the state traffic management personnel will be on the ground to manage vehicular movement and reduce inconveniences.

Therefore, the commissioner urged motorists to be patient and adhere to the direction of movements by the traffic management personnel for seamless movement.
