Just In: Reps reject proposed life pension for senate president, others 

Nigeria’s House of Representatives has rejected a proposal to give life pension to Senate President, Speaker of the House and their deputies.

When the proposal came up for vote at plenary on Tuesday, 193 members voted against it, while 162 voted in favour and three members abstained.
