Governor Hope Uzodinma Nominates Former Imo Speaker, 16 Others As Commissioners Nominee

The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, has nominated new commissioners to fill up 17 positions that became vacant after he sacked some commissioners six months ago.

The Speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Kennedy Ibe, read a letter containing the names of the nominees sent to the house by Governor Uzodinma on Monday.

Amongst the nominees are former speaker, Goodluck Opia, a former governorship aspirant, Prof. Duru Emmanuel, and the immediate past secretary of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Dr Love Ineh.

The nominees are:
