Government Workers without Ghana Card will not receive salaries from December

The Controller and Accountant General has urged public sector workers to register for the Ghana Card.

A new statement from The Controller and Accountant General says any public sector worker yet to register for the Ghana card will not receive monthly salary from December 1, 2021.

This decision has been communicated to all public institutions and all workers are expected to adhere to it.

According to the The Controller and Accountant General, this will its quest to deliver speedy, secured and verified payroll services to government employees and pensioners.

Registration for the Ghana Card is free at GRA offices but an express one at the NIA headquarters is 250 cedis.
