Ex president of Nigeria, Dr Goodluck Jonathan has announced his retirement from active political party participation.

Jonathan made this known while speaking with journalists in Abuja.

He said that as Elder an Statesman, that he will maintain the position of not belonging to any political party, nor supporting any candidate, but supporting the progress and development of our great Nation, Nigeria.
