Glo Jolly Win promo new millionaires receive prizes

Technology company, Globacom, is spreading joy again as it presented cheques of N1m each to new set of millionaires in the exciting monthly Glo Jolly Win promo.

Joined by its Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) licensed partners, Nitroswitch, an aggregator company, and Tetragrammaton, the value-added service provider for these services, Globacom presented the cheques which are in addition to the airtime and data rewards received daily by a crowd of Glo customers who have subscribed to the promo.

Five new winners received their cheques at the monthly presentation ceremony in Lagos. A subscriber, Mr.Olieh Somtochukwu, a staff member of a real estate company  in Anambra State had emerged the first winner of the sum of N1 million naira in the promo weeks ago.

Another winner, Mrs. Adebayo Idowu, a recently retired school teacher, would have been presented her cheque during the first promo draw in September but for her refusal to turn up. In spite of several voice and video calls to her, the winner simply refused to believe that she had become a millionaire, courtesy of Globacom.

The doubtful millionaire was effusive with words of endearment to Glo when she was eventually presented her prize at the event that was held last week.

Other Glo Jolly Win millionaires included Ganiu Bayo, a Lagos-based printing and publishing executive, Abdul Mumuni Oseni, a corporate driver, Abiodun Oluwasanmi Temitayo, a mechanical engineer and Ashimiu Aminat Idowu, a teacher.

Mojeed Aluko of VAS Department, Globacom, explained that “the Glo Jolly Win is a lottery service in which subscribers can answer trivia questions or spin a wheel to win loads of airtime, data and cash prizes for as low as N100/day, with no need for downloads or any storage usage on their phones. Subscribers can select their preferred services from the options of Jolly Trivia, Wheel, Win & Life to join in the fun and excitement of the lottery with the potential to become millionaires”.

Glo subscribers are required to dial *20152# or send JWD to 20152 on their Glo lines to be part of the life-enhancing promo.
