Former U.S. President Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to the 37 count federal charges as the historic hearing began in Miami, Florida.
Trump, who will be 77 tomorrow, appeared at the Wilkie D. Ferguson Jr. US Courthouse alongside attorneys Chris Kise and Todd Blanche.
He is facing extensive federal charges stemming from his alleged mistreatment and concealment of top secret documents after he left the White House in January 2021.
Among the secret documents he took away were those relating to Nuclear power.
Trump’s aide Walter Nauta was also indicted last week on six related charges. He was indicted for helping Trump conceal the documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort, also in Florida.
