Bamise’s Murder: I’m not guilty – BRT driver tells court

Court remands suspect for 30 days

At the hearing of the case, Nice pleaded not guilty to the charges of rape and and murder, leveled against him.

The suspect is to be remanded in custody for 30 days.

Recall we had reported that Oluwabamise was declared missing while returning to Ota from Ajah on February 26 when she boarded a BRT bus with number 240257 going to Oshodi at about 7 pm at Chevron Bus-Stop.

The fashion designer’s lifeless body was later discovered by the roadside.

On Monday, the Department of State Services arrested Andrew Nice, the driver of the BRT that the victim boarded.

Viral videos showed that the driver when apprehended by the secret police confessed to having ‘been indecent’ with the deceased.
