Nollywood actor Uzee Usman has voiced his frustrations over series of betrayals he said he has experienced from those he considered close allies.
In a recent post, he expressed his dismay at how people prioritize their selfish interests, showing little concern for others’ challenges, and emphasized that everyone is essentially on their own.
Usman bitterly lamented that those often regarded as confidants end up betraying by taking advantage of one’s problems, making it impossible to remain silent in suffering.
Stating the pretense of care during tough times, the actor questioned his followers’ sincerity.
He wrote, “In the end, nobody cares. Whatever you’re going through, you’re on your own. If you talk to someone, they exploit your problems. If you don’t, you suffer in silence. People pretend to care, but they really don’t. Do you?”
