Ofadaboy Celebrates 15 Years of Service and Catering Excellence with Successful Ofada Rice Day Festival

Ofadaboy, a renowned Nigerian food and culture ambassador, marked a significant milestone of 15 years of service and catering excellence with the successful hosting of the 6th edition of the Ofada Rice Day Festival. The event, themed “Ofadabration 2.0,” was attended by over 9,000 people, including representatives from the Canadian Deputy High Commission, American Consulate, and British High Commission.

The festival featured a range of activities, including performances by top Nigerian artistes, such as Abass Obesere and Reminisce , Reakado Banks , Brymo amongst others . Veteran food vendors from across different states like Ikene, Itoko, Iperu, igbokoda and other food and drinks vendors also showcased their products.

In addition to the festivities, Ofadaboy launched the Ofadaboy Charity Foundation, which aims to provide healthy meals for Nigerians and give back to the society and communities across the southwest and Nigeria at large.

Lagos State Commissioner for Agriculture, Ms. Abisola Olusanya, commended Ofadaboy for its efforts in promoting ofada rice and Nigerian culture. Director-General, National Institute of Hospitality and Tourism, Dr. Abisoye Fagade, also praised Ofadaboy for its commitment to promoting Nigerian cuisine and culture.

Tobi Fletcher, Creative Director of Ofadaboy, and his partner Oyinda Fletcher who is the Chief Operating Officer expressed their gratitude to all who attended and supported the event. “We’re excited to have achieved this milestone and look forward to many more years of serving and promoting Nigerian cuisine and culture,” he said.

Ofadaboy has announced plans to take the Ofada Rice Day Festival to three countries next year, in partnership with some foreign embassies. This move is part of the company’s mission to take Nigerian culture and food to the world.
