Nollywood actress Habibat Jinad reconciles with Wumi Toriola after 5 years

Nollywood actress Habibat Jinad has responded to the recent public apology issued by her colleague, Wumi Toriola.

Just hours ago, Wumi took to social media to extend her apology to her long-lost friend, Habibat, after five years of estrangement without a clear reason.

Accompanying her apology was a lovely photo of Habibat Jinad, accompanied by Wumi’s reflection on why their communication ceased for such a prolonged period.

In her statement, Wumi revealed that she recently stumbled upon Jinad’s Instagram profile and couldn’t resist checking out her colleague’s new addition to the family, baby Okikiola.

In response, Habibat expressed her surprise at seeing Wumi follow her on Instagram a few days prior and felt compelled to reciprocate the gesture.

She disclosed that she reached out to Wumi via direct message, and to her delight, received a response.

Expressing her joy at the reconciliation, Habibat mentioned her prayers to celebrate her upcoming 40th birthday in harmony with everyone, a wish that she believes has been granted by a higher power.

Reflecting on the passage of time, she emphasized the importance of fostering love, peace, and unity among their peers.

In a statement shared online, Habibat wrote: “Let me quickly drop this here @wumitoriola and I have not been talking for the past 5 years; if you ask us what happened, we don’t know.

“To cut the long story short, I saw her following me today on Instagram, and I was surprised. And I had to follow back and send her a DM, and she responded.

“Although I’ve prayed to almighty God that I want to celebrate my 40th birthday in peace with everyone, and God answers prayers.

“We are not getting younger anymore. We all need peace, love and unity within us all.

Much love, @wumitoriola”.
