Why Glo emerged “Outstanding Telecom Brand of the Year”

Globacom also picked up the award for the TV Commercial of the Year at a well-attended event held at The Podium Event Centre, Lekki, Lagos. Its commercial, Front Row seat, which clearly projected the power of individuals to attain any goal with the necessary tool of Glo data at their disposal, won the award. The event also marked the 20th anniversary of Marketing Edge.

 

Marketing Edge added that Globacom had since inception in 2003 offered the best solutions to its customers at the most affordable rates. The awards were seen as befitting birthday present for the company which marked its 20th anniversary in August, 2023.

 

Just two weeks ago, Globacom also emerged winners of “Best Value for Money Data & ISP Brand of the Year 2023” and “Best Value for Money Telecommunication Service of the Year 2023” awards at the second annual Consumer Value Awards which were decided by online votes by members of the public.

 

Doyen of Advertising in Nigeria, Mr Steve Omojafor, in his speech at the event, paid glowing tribute to Marketing Edge for its innovations, adding that marketing communications awards are held in high esteem and recognized beyond Nigeria.

 

Top personalities in the nations’ brands and communications industry, as well as corporate and business executives attended the event.
