Manchester City have reportedly agreed personal terms with Alexis Sanchez over a transfer move to the Etihad.
Sanchez, 29, was on the verge of joining City for a fee of around £60million in the summer transfer window, but the move collapsed as Arsenal were unable to bring a replacement to north London.
The Chilean is out of contract at the Emirates at the end of the 2017/18 campaign meaning that the Gunners risk losing him on a free transfer in the summer.
Gianluca Di Marzio claims City have reached an agreement with Sanchez that he will receive £11.5m-a-season and be handed a £26.5m bonus when he officially signs for the club.
It’s understood Arsenal’s squad have lost patience with the long-running transfer saga and are willing the move to happen as soon as possible.
Asked about his interest in Sanchez at the end of December, Guardiola stated: ‘He is a player from Arsenal and I think he is going to stay at Arsenal.
‘Now it is just about recovering from today. Sometimes you ask for that, but I have a lot of things in my mind. ‘In two days, we have another game.
In terms of what happens, we will have meetings and see what is best. But my feeling now is Alexis is an Arsenal player.’
