Atiku visits Oji Uzor Kalu
Atiku Abubakar, the former vice-president of Nigeria, visited Senator Orji Uzor Kalu at his residence on Wednesday afternoon.
Atiku who is a top member of the PDP did not walk alone. The PDP presidential candidate visited Kalu with his team members.
However, some Nigerians believe that Atiku’s visit was an indication of PDP’s support for Kalu to become the Senate President.
One Stephen Obinna wrote: “You are playing your card to be Senate president.”
Kpokote Ego: “You should be sacked from APC, this is to show you are practicing an ANTI-PARTY affair.”
The former governor, who is also vying for Senate Presidency under the APC platform, noted that Atiku’s visit was a condolence visit.
“I received on condolence visit this afternoon the Former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar at my residence. I thank the former Vice President and all his team for the warm visit,” Kalu stated.
