PDP will return to power in 2023 – Tambuwal

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Governors’ Forum says the platform will help the party return to power at the federal level in 2023.

The Chairman and Sokoto Governor, Aminu Tambuwal spoke on Sunday at a banquet organised by the Akwa lbom government, ahead of the forum meeting in Uyo.

Tambuwal assured that he and his colleagues would not disappoint Nigerians.

He noted that the governors and party leaders were determined to rescue Nigeria.

“God on our side, we are determined as leaders, to provide that platform for the emergence of another PDP leadership in 2023,” Tambuwal said.

The Sokoto helmsman urged all citizens to continue to pray for the country to overcome insecurity.

Governor Emmanuel Udom stated that the people did not make mistakes when they elected PDP governors.

PDP National Legal Adviser, Emmanuel Enoidem said the National Working Committee (NWC) was proud of them.

“If there is any hope of democracy in Nigeria, it has come from the PDP governors because of their excellent performance in their states,” he stressed.

Apart from Emmanuel and Tambuwal, others in attendance were governors of Adamawa, Delta, Enugu, Rivers, Taraba, Bayelsa, Edo and the deputy governor of Zamafara State.
