Meshach Sinuphro: Fleeing Abuja N55m Benz thief nabbed in Edo

Officers of the Nigerian Police Force in Edo have arrested the suspect, Meshach Sinuphro, who stole a Mercedes Benz worth N55m from a car dealer in the Federal Capital Territory.

The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, confirmed the arrest on Thursday.

Edafe revealed that Sinuphro was apprehended in Benin City, Edo State.

“The suspect, Meshack Sinuphro, who allegedly stole the Benz at Abuja while pretending to be a buyer, has been arrested by the Command Decoy Squad today in Benin City.

“The suspect will be transferred to the FCT Command soonest. Always report crimes to the police, and we will always deliver,” Edafe stated.

Sinuphro absconded with the Mercedes Benz GLB 250 last Wednesday in the FCT.

The stolen vehicle was recovered in the Ughelli North Local Government Area Delta State.

He absconded with the vehicle during a test drive.
